'FAT FRIDAY's'

Faculty Heads will nominate their teams as the outstanding teaching and learning faculty of the week, by 'claiming' the outstanding things that they have done in the past week. The faculty with the most outstanding claims will be treated to a varied selection of tea and baked goods,  which will be delivered to the faculty team room during break on a Friday. Make sure your faculty is having a RELENTLESS drive on OUTSTANDING Teaching and Learning!

Has your Faculty Director filled out your team nomination form?

SLT 'Magic Moments' of the week:

Ideas for inspirational classroom environments.

Here at NOA, we have been having a real drive on the quality of displays at the Academy. This is a quick win for giving every area of your classroom the potential for interactive learning; from boggle boards that support numeracy and literacy, to clocks with square roots. A quick win for sprucing up and involving the students . Please take a peek at some of our classroom displays.

Have you had a look at the resources from the Inclusion CPD - 26/01/15

At NOA we believe that it is important to recognise the daily contributions that lead to the progress of our students. Our daily learning walks, which are carried out by the Senior Leadership Team, recognise the hard work and dedication of the teaching team at NOA. Actively searching for those 'magic moments' we like to celebrate and thank staff for their best practice here on our blog. Please take a moment to browse through our gallery:

LOVE OF LEARNING 'LOL'

This year, our LOL project is focussing on reading.  Students have been asked to 'LOL' their favourite learning activities, to show their love of learning to read. They have been nominating staff who have used reading activities in their lessons or during tutor time.  Please take a look at what the students have said about their teachers.
